School Headphone Budget Calculator

Plan one classroom or several device groups. Match stock to the right connector, include spares, and take an itemized estimate to your purchasing team.

1. Set your planning assumptions

Example inputs are loaded to show how it works. Replace them with your school numbers.

Spare rates are editable planning assumptions, not a required standard. Enter 0 if none are needed.

2. Add your device groups

Separate groups when connectors or microphone needs differ. Count each working unit once. Prices are illustrative USD amounts, not live quotes.

3. Include the other costs

Sales tax is excluded. Confirm tax exemption, shipping, bulk prices and adapter support before ordering.

How the calculation works

For each group: target = users + rounded-up spare units. Units to buy = target minus working compatible stock, with a minimum of zero. Equipment cost = units to buy × your unit price.

Adapters, storage and shipping are added once. Contingency applies to that subtotal. Stock must meet the connector and microphone needs of its group. Surplus in one group does not offset another. For disposables, enter total uses to cover. This is a purchase budget, not a lifecycle-cost model.
