Three habits for shared headsets
Clean between users
Spray a headset cleaner on a cloth and wipe ear cushions, headbands and microphones before the next student uses them. Follow the product’s directions and the headset maker’s care guidance.
Add a disposable barrier
Ear cushion covers and microphone covers give each student a fresh surface. Match the cover size to the headset: 2.5" covers fit personal-sized on-ear models and 4.5" covers fit over-ear models.
Plan supplies by use
Multiply your headsets by how many students share each one per day and per week to size cover and cleaner orders. Bulk packs and refills lower the cost per use.
HygenX purchasing questions
Which ear cushion covers fit our headphones?
Measure the ear cushion. The 2.5" covers are made for personal-sized on-ear headphones and headsets, and the 4.5" covers are for over-ear models. Covers come in 50-pair packs for a classroom and in 600- and 1,000-pair bulk quantities for a school or district.
Can we refill the spray bottles?
Yes. The HygenX Headphone and Headset Cleaner comes in an 8 oz spray bottle and a 1-gallon refill bottle, and the whiteboard cleaner is a refillable 8 oz spray. Buying the gallon and refilling classroom bottles costs less per use.
What do we need for the Vray UV-C sanitizer?
The Vray is a portable, cordless UV-C wand. We also stock the Vray replacement bulb and the V-Claw holder. Follow the product’s safety directions when using UV-C light.
Can our school request a quote or use a purchase order?
Learning Headphones accepts school purchase orders and provides quotes for classroom quantities. Use the Request a Quote page and include the products, quantities and purchasing requirements you need.
