• Over-ear closed-back seal helps reduce distractions compared with open earbuds.

• Detachable cable makes storage and replacement easier for classroom sets.
• Comfort-first padding supports longer listening blocks in labs or media rooms.

Compatibility and connection

The MDR-100AAP uses a 4-pole 3.5 mm TRRS plug for combined audio and mic. It works with most Chromebooks, laptops, tablets, and phones that have a single headset jack. For desktops with separate headphone/mic ports, a headset splitter is needed. USB-C-only devices may require a USB-C to 3.5 mm headset adapter if permitted by district IT.

Best use cases

• Media labs, music/CTE programs, and student production
• Focused listening during independent or small-group work
• Virtual learning and collaboration requiring a mic
• High-fidelity classroom audio for older students

Classroom notes

• Premium listening model: Great when sound quality and comfort are priorities; for heavy day-to-day shared carts, more rugged school-focused models may be preferred.
• Closed-back fit: Better isolation than open earbuds, but not active noise canceling.
• Color ID: The “Y” suffix indicates the Lime Yellow colorway.
